Khyasia Caldwell '17 Recruiting Profile

Welcome to my recruiting profile! My name is Khyasia Caldwell and I am a junior at Pocono Mountain East High School, Swiftwater, PA. Graduating class of 2017. I am a well-rounded athlete with many talents. I excel in track and field and have set many records for my high school and have metaled at states, however my first love is basketball.

I first started playing organized basketball in 5th grade and my appreciation for the game has grown stronger over the years. I love to work though the drills because it pushes my limits which allows me to enhance my skill sets. I earned a starting varsity spot my freshman year, but refused to be content with that achievement alone. I believe in setting challenging goals for myself, which will not only help me improve as a player, but will make me more valuable to my team. My speed and agility are my biggest assets. but i am also a strong ball-handler who works well under pressure and can finish at the rim. Defensively, I have quick hands and averages 3 steals a game. I also have a nose for the ball with rebounding. I am a team player, very coach able and extremely competitive. I am looking forward to playing at the collegiate level, hopefully at a school that will afford me the opportunity to pursue a degree in psychology / sociology.
