My biggest accomplishment for basketball was when my Middle School team won the Championship for the SMC 1A. We were down to only six girls that could play and we played hard and as a team. I think a lot about that game and teammates. We overcame being the underdogs and stood our ground. We are still friends but have moved on to other teams.
My fondness for basketball started young and has only grown over time. My goal on the Court when I am out there is to disrupt the offense with my speed and quickness. I don't have the height like a lot of the girls out there. But I fight for every rebound and every jump ball as if I was tall. My team I am with now feels like a family and that helps me and us on the court. Also my Coaches are always showing me ways to improve, which is always beneficial. I would enjoy playing in College and continue to learn the sport. I would like to study kinesiology and learn the behind the scenes of sports and athletes.
I fight, push myself, Coachable, and I will play taller and stronger then my size alouds. I don't give up on a broken play nor do I give up on my teammates.
