My name is Zyaire "Chase" Hayes and I am a 5'10 ,160 lbs small forward. I was fortunate enough to lead my team to its first ever state championship as a freshman. I was also name All-Region and Player Of The Year my freshman year. This experience showed me to always work hard and always have a good attitude because you never know who is watching . My goal is to get 4 year scholarship to any school that is best for me and that will help me grow as a person , instead of just a basketball player.
One of the most important things in Women's basketball is too have a good basketball IQ. I think I will be a good candidate to play on anyone's team because I feel like my IQ is very good. I am able to read the floor from any angle ; and I can give good observation on the opposing team . Also , I work hard at all times. I believe in pushing myself and pushing my teammates when it comes to practice . I don't want to get better myself , I want my teammates to get better as well . I feel like if you believe in me and my ability then all things will go right .
I differ from other athletes because , I don't just play basketball I play volleyball, soccer , and I run track and still maintain my grades . I make sure my grades are up , while still try and stay in shape . It would be an honor to be recognize as a student-athlete .
