Education was always my first goal, and I never really thought much about collegiate basketball, but after my ACL injury (sophomore year), I missed the complete 2014-2015 season. I couldn't bare being away from basketball, so I did what was necessary to get back on my feet. Within that process, basketball grew closer to my heart. Now I'm determined to grow stronger and continue to further my basketball career in college. I'm willing to go hard and do everything it takes to get to that level, while continuing to work diligently in academic perspectives. I'm dedicated in the classrooms and I constantly challenge myself academically for the nourishment of my future success. When it comes to my play style, I often get separated from others. I do not believe in the word "quit" and there is no giving up. I firmly believe that failure is actually an option, and mistakes have the power to make you stronger than ever. My mindset is powerful and as a team player, I would only hope that in the process of following leaders, I too will lead through my attitude and drive.
