Hello, my name is Dedrianna Smith. I am 18 years old. I eat basketball, breath basketball, study basketball and so on. My goals are graduate high school with a basketball scholarship. My goal is to have plenty recruiters looking for me and at me. My goal is to make my mother proud by doing what I love doing which is playing basketball. My aspirations are to play basketball on a professional level, then soon after be able to coach college teams. I am different from other recruits by character because, I am actually committed to the game, you have these female basketball players that only wants it for the looks, you have these basketball players that have so much talent! But waste it all by rarely practicing and eating basketball ... breathing basketball.. practicing everyday ... and most of all conditioning! I am well conditioned , you can’t be a great basketball player and wheeze up and down the court and be out of breath! I have a good attitude! You can’t be a good basketball player and talk back to a coach that’s trying to help you for the better! And most of all Academics first! You CANNOT be a good basketball player with bad grades. I’ve ran track, made state a couple of times, ran track in the state of Hawaii and placed 2nd place state against somebody older then me ! Still a big deal. I’ve played softball, I’ve played lacrosse, I’ve danced, I’ve done archery! I’ve played basketball, I made all county my 8th and 7th grade year. I was a starter my 7th grade year. I had scored the most points out of the boys and girls in my county EVER! My 8th grade year. I am athletically built and trained. Basketball is my number 1. Having recruiters look at me is a must, I will be sooo thankful, especially since I’m going to be in my 12th grade year.
