Makayla Hoffpauir '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Makayla Hoffpauir and I am now a Senior in High School. I have played basketball since the third grade and it has become part of my life. The position I play is Point Guard and to be able to play that position you have to be a leader and be disciplined. All teams need to have leaders that will play hard on the court and work hard at school all at the same time. They have to be disciplined enough to know what to achieve and what to strive towards.
Every year I have to work hard to achieve the goals I want from all the activities I do. I play at least five sports every year(Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Track, Tennis, & Football), I take college classes, and I show animals (heifers, hogs, lambs, & steers) at many shows. Through all this I maintain a ninety-five and above average in all my regular classes along with A's in my college classes. I work to do my best in everything I am involved in.
Everyday I am working more and more to achieve my goals and to increase my skills. Since I did not know this whole network existed until the summer of my Junior year, I need to work even harder to get my name out there and make myself known. This is the time to work on myself and my skills so I can attain my goals.
