Personal Statement

My name is Maci Hoffman and currently a part of the 2016 graduating class at Buffalo High School. I sincerely believe that having a big heart is something that sets me apart from athletes; truly caring about my teammates, not just on the court but in everyday life as well.

 

I have been playing basketball since I was five years old starting with Little Dribblers, which I participated in for seven years. I began playing AAU basketball my Freshman year and the experience was incredible. Playing with this group of elite girls has encouraged me to step up my game and has helped me become more competitive in basketball.  One of my greatest accomplishments was hitting my thousandth point during my Sophomore year in the Regional Qualifying game.  Also, I have been chosen 1st Team All District for 3 years, All Region 2 years, All Area my Freshman year and All State my Sophomore year.

 

Education is very important to me as well.  I am currently working very hard in all subjects to maintain a solid 3.0 GPA.

I know how lucky I am to be participating in a sport I love and look forward to continuing at the college level.  I look forward to hearing from you.
