Personal Statement

My name is Brittney Fields and I am a 6'2", 190 lb multi-sport athlete lettering in volleyball, basketball, softball and track.  But basketball is my passion and I have been a varsity starter for three years!  As a freshman, I led the team in scoring and helped our team earn its first district win in twenty years.  As a result, I received All-Texomaland honors.  As a sophomore, our varsity team won district and I was named Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Texomaland and awarded All-Tournament in preseason.  I am currently in my junior year, am co-Captain and have received All-Tournament Player in all three preseason tournaments.

My goal is to earn a scholarship and attend a university where I can become a physical therapist and give back to the sport someday.   What sets me apart from other recruits in 2020 is my physicality, competitiveness and unselfish play.  Playing both a school ball and club has allowed me to constantly improve my game and I feel that there is always more to learn and skills to build on.  My strong work ethic has also allowed me to maintain a GPA of 3.7 and I will graduate with nearly 40 hours of college credit.  I have also been named Academic All District as a freshman and sophomore.

I feel that given the opportunity, I can make an impact on a team!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
