Nyla Isaac '17 Recruiting Profile

My family values truly define the type of person that I am. I am determined to work hard and strive for success in all that I do, to include; academics, athlethics, and family.  My high school goals are to maintain a high GPA and continue to improve my basketball game, so that I may earn an academic or athletic scholorship.  A scholorship will help the me pursue my dreams of playing baketball at the next level and study pediatric neurology. I have taken steps to achieve my academic success by my selection to the National Junior Honor Society in the sixth grade and National Honor Society in High School. I have also taken steps towards my athletics success by playing the sports of basketball, track, softball, and volleyball. I am currently focused on basketball. I handle the ball very well and have great court vision. I create shots for myself and my team and encourage them on the court. I am coachable, respectful, and I can handle pressure. I fully understand that everything I do will affect me in some way, shape or form, which is why I carry myself with good character and take care of all of my responsibilities. Challenges excite me and I enjoy being pushed to my limits because I know that it will take me to the next level.  What makes me different from other recruits is my strong work ethic, family values, and my will to succeed.
