Personal Statement
I am a player whom can play any position at any time and absolutely NOT afraid to get down in the paint with the post players. Defense will keep you in the game, but will also win the game. That’s why I try to make sure my defensive play improves each time. I want my next game to be better than the next game!! I see the whole court and able to make a play that works, based off where and how the defense is set up. I always try to stay positive and encouraged, mainly because I feel if my teammates see that the point guard is stressed or falling apart, then they will probably get stressed and lose all hope in the game as well. Basketball to me is a break from everything!!! When I get on the court, I leave whatever problems I have at home, school, or any other problems and go into the game with a blank mind. It helps my teammates and I, because if I go in with a full plate, I won't be much assistance to my teammates and will very much be out my game. While in High School, I will continue to study, better my GPA, and work on my basketball range. Once I graduate High School I plan to study to either become a Physician's Assistant (PA) or a Pediatrician.
