Madison McKinnon '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madison McKinnon.  I am in the class of 2024 and play for Tyler Heat.  My collegiate goals include finding a college that inspires me, to meet a coach with a big heart and treats their players with respect and sincerity as well as overall  strong community support for Women’s athletics.

I want to find a school that has a good business and Marketing program so I can further my aspirations to become a real estate business agent, marketer or interior designer.  I want to play basketball in college because my passion has been basketball since 3rd grade and when I’m not in the classroom, I’m in a gym.  I’ve had a strong support system that has shown me you have to earn everything you get, its not handed to you.  Strong Work ethic and team first is my motto and I strive everyday to please and to not get comfortable.  I’m different from other recruits because I live on a ranch and hard work is a given.  I love FCA!  My mom played Division 1 basketball and officiates D1 basketball and I am a student of the game by watching next level players already living their dreams and learning how to make my game better.  I am a very competitive and driven person.  My grades as well as playing competitive basketball are of high priority due to preparing me for life lessons and future endeavors.  I want to empower other female athletes like myself to work hard to attain their goals and long lasting relationships will lead to an amazing future.  Please keep me in mind to potentially attend your school and be a part of your amazing basketball program.
