My name is Landrie Polk, class of 2025.
After high school, I plan to minor in business and major in political science, with the intention of going to law school after I finish my undergraduate degree or go to school to become a dermatologist. A few things that set me apart from other recruits is my prioritization of academics; for example, I was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society in 2021, and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout school. Additionally, I am a multi-sport athlete, which has provided me with a broad perspective of what it means to be a good teammate, to be coachable, and a more versatile athlete. Finally, I am involved in my high school's Key Club chapter, which allows me to be more involved with our community and give back to the people who have invested in our futures.
I am passionate about the game of basketball and pride myself on being the best team player I can possibly be, regardless of my role on the team. I make it a point to work hard on and off the court because i believe that my attitude and effort are a direct reflection upon my teammates and coach; I will always encourage my teammates to do their best as well. Furthermore, I am extremely disciplined; I spend almost 2 hours every day outside of practice working on my skills so that I can help my team be more successful.
