Personal Statement
From the first time I touched a ball at the age of five, I knew basketball was going to be one of my biggest loves. Throughout my basketball career, I have improved my game tremendously every season. My love for the game has inspired me to not stay in line with the thousands of other girls who share my same love for basketball, but to elevate over the standard talent level. Along with success of the court, I have maintained a high grade point and class rank all throughout high school and have balanced the two demanding subjects well. Something that separates me from other athletes similar to me is my ability to attack all diversity with a positive and confident attitude. From a challenging class in school to career hindering injuries, I've dealt with them all and have managed to come out on top of all the obstacles. My attitude has allowed for me to achieve accolades on and off the court, such as my induction into National Honor Society and All-District honors. I view my education the same way as I view my basketball life; I look for every opportunity available to improve myself. I know that any chance given to me by any coach would be beneficial to not only me, but to their team and campus as well.
