Personal Statement
Starting at a young age I was never afraid to be loud. Which thankfully is very helping for basketball. I know how to communicate with teammates, lead a team, accept criticism and distract others on the court with my loud voice. The leadership qualities that all previous coaches of mine have seen help change my game and puts me in position to do things that other players prefer not to do. My sophomore year I became the Braswell High School's leader in charges with over 25, but for my junior year, I recorded 54 Charges Taken. Now with being a good contributor on the court my presence in the classroom is just as amazing. With a 3.9 Weighted and a 3.2 Unweighted GPA, I'm currently in the top 20% of my class. Having grades as such helps me see the game in many different ways. It's easy for me to spot strengths and flaws in other players, get a read of how officials are calling games, and help me pick the best decisions when on either side of the floor.
I am wanting to pursue a degree in Broadcast journalism, hoping to eventually become a Sport's Broadcaster.
