Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to first get a degree because that is my ultimate goal towards entering college. Also, another goal of mine is to work in the Sports/Science Management or Business industry, or possibly play pro basketball. I am ready for a challenge, and want to learn life lessons that will stick with me through the ages, with the help of  basketball. I am a great candidate for your team because I am eager to learn, I have a great spirit, I am very coach-able and disciplined, and I want to become the best I can be in everything I do, and grow on and off the court.

I come from a Christian household and family, and they have always taught me, and still teach me till this day about staying true to yourself, and how prayer, hard work and discipline will help you achieve anything you want, as long as you set your mind to it. I am a student athlete, and academics always come first, then it's basketball.

I have been taught time management, especially since now I am a new high schooler going on into my freehman year, so I know how to balance basketball and schoolwork. I have never had any problems at school, I get along with all my teachers, and I have always had great grades.

As far as athletics and basketball skills go, I have played basketball since the age of three. Since I was young, I have played all kinds of sports, but basketball has just always stuck with me. I love playing the game so much that even after practice or training, I will still try to stick around and figure out what I did wrong, or how I can be or do better in a drill or a play. I love competing, because even though it helps me become a better player, it also helps me figure out other people's motives, and what they are good and bad at, so I can add it to my game. Overall, I have a great character that you can see from the inside and out, and I have so much love for the game of basketball, I am willing to do anything to reach my fullest potential.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
