Cierra Zapata '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cierra Zapata, and I am a 5’3” 130 lb guard from Prairie Lea ISD, and Coastal Bend College. My freshman and sophomore year of highschool I received 1st team-all district recognition, also leading our team to Bi-district champs as starting point guard. I also played for Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil’s club team. After high school I committed to Coastal Bend College in the NJCAA region 14 conference. This fall I will be finishing up my sophomore year and graduating with an associates of science. I plan on pursuing a career in physical therapy and continuing to also further my college career. At the moment I have a 3.85 GPA which after this last semester I hope it will improve even more. I work hard everyday not only on the court but also in the class room, and hope to make an impact on my next team in any way that I can.
