My name is Destiny Solis I'm the oldest of seven children. I will be the first of my siblings to graduate and attend college. I have been playing basketball since age 10. I'm currently a senior at Holmes High School and a member of the girls varsity basketball team. During my time on varsity I have made second team all district twice. I continue to work during off season by playing with my summer league. I'm willing to work hard and give my all during season and off season. My Father, Stepfather, and Coach Justin keep me honest and humble, they stress the importance of hard work, and intelligence on and off the court. Coach King who is my high school Coach reminds me to keep pursuing my goals, academics are to be my highest priority, I am a student athlete which means I am held to a higher standard. I have a large community of supporters; family and friends alike. I want to major in Kinesiology and get my bachelors degree. My future job is to coach high school basket ball, this has always been my dream. If I am offered the opportunity to play at the next level I feel that I have the talent and work ethic to do so. I am a student of the game which helps me with learning different systems fast. I know that hard work pushes talent further that just talent alone. I am Honest, dependable and trust worthy.
