Shelby Hanna '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" forward/post from Spearman, Texas. The 2010-2011 season was my third year as a varsity starter and team captain. As a Junior, I was chosen for the TABC All- Region Team as well as the TGCA All-State Team. In addition to this, I am a three time All-District First Team player and Defensive Player of the Year (2011). I also accomplished Academic All-District honors in four sports throughout the previous school year. My GPA is a 4.00 on a 4.00 scale. I am currently ranked first in my class. I would like to play on a team that I will make a strong impact on. Playing as a freshman is also one of my goals. Academic excellence is very important to me and I would like to attend a college that embraces this especially in the degree of Pre-Law or Political Science. A college in Texas and surrounding states would be ideal. I would like to attend a school that holds it's students accountable to the highest possible moral values. A Christian environment is welcome but not required. It is also very important to me that I am able to recieve personal attention in the classroom.
