Malorie Puente '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was five years old. Since I first got my hands on a basketball and stepped on the court my intentions were to play at the collegiate level. I understand that playing college basketball is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could possibly change my whole life. I would like to have this opportunity to play for you.

I have a high basketball IQ, I also have strong ball handling skills. I am a leader of my team and try to lead by encouraging and set great example of leadership for my teammates. I strive to be a hard working player on the court and in the classroom. I will also be one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.

In the classroom, I study hard to receive high grades, I also volunteer at local summer youth programs and currently a coach for a little league basketball team.

I want to attend a college where I will push my self to succeed in the classroom and also on the court. I want to find the right college to match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my town, family, friends, and most of all to make my parents proud.
