I have been playing basketball since first grade. Over the years, I have developed a love and commitment to basketball. I am very dedicated to my academics and basketball. I want nothing more than to play basketball in college. Basketball has given me the opportunity to learn about work ethic, determination, and drive. I work on my game daily. I put in between 2-4 hours a day in a gym to increase my skills.
I have a high basketball IQ through attending Point Guard College, watching basketball games (on TV and in person), and reading about the game. I will continue to learn about being a leader on the court as there is a lot for me to learn. As a point guard, I help to direct my teammates and I create plays for my teammates to be successful. As a shooting guard, I look to take the best shot possible in the game.
As for my educational goals, I have decided to become a nurse. Upon high school graduation, I will be a certified nurse's assistant and I am on track to graduate with 45 hours of college credit. I plan on continuing my education to become a Registered Nurse and eventually a Nurse Anesthetist.
I believe that I will be a great asset to a college basketball team. My work ethic is never ending, I love the game of basketball, and I continue to learn the game and grow as a player.
