Personal Statement

My name is Kiara Evans (Class of 2017 high school graduate) and I was a student athlete at Memorial Christian Academy located in Killeen, TX. While in high school, I competed in basketball, cross country, and track and field events for my school. I am currently in my freshman year at Howard Payne University for the fall 2017 semester. I am not on the team there, but I still have a strong desire to play basketball on the college level while pursuing my college degree. My primary goal is to earn a college degree. I hope to accomplish this while playing basketball at a competitive college or university. I am seeking invitations to try out to showcase what I have been doing to improve my overall performance on the basketball court since completing high school.
