I love the game of basketball. It has been a major part of my life since I was five years old. I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level just like my mom did. Playing basketball has helped me in other aspects of my life. It has taught me how to work hard in the classroom, be a good leader and team player, be a good example to friends, and the importance of respecting others.
I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working player in the gym. I have strong ball handling skills, a scoring mentality, and I am a threat from the outside. I am an aggressive defensive player and a solid passer. I have a high basketball IQ and an intense desire to continue to learn more about the game.
I really enjoy school. I am involved in student government and maintain a 3.98 GPA. One of my other dreams is to graduate from college. I take my education very seriously and look forward to continuing my education after high school.
I expect a lot from myself and really push myself to excel. I want to attend a college that expects the same. I appreciate all the friends I have made over the years as I have played basketball. I am very grateful for the sacrifices my parents have made for me to allow me to participate in sports. I hope to make them proud.
