As a UK based point guard, I currently play for the Bristol Flyers Girls U16 team, a National Premier League team as part of Basketball England.
I am 'Gracie' and I am 16 years old (℅ 2027). I am at the top of my game both athletically and academically. I love to play Basketball. I started to play whilst I was living in the USA for 2 years, where I developed a passion for the sport. I am dedicated to playing Basketball and push myself every day to learn and practice new skills and drills.
I maybe small (currently) but I am not afraid of facing up to anyone. In fact, it is quite an advantage with speed and maneuverability, it often puts the competition on the back foot.
I am a player's player and a team player. I always do what is best for the team. I am also very coachable! With my skill set I also train with the girls U16 & U18 teams. More recently, I have started to compete in FIBA 3X3 games.
I have also been put forward for the Basketball England Aspire Programme. This is a talent pathway that contains four tiers of progression that sits astride the adjoining Talent System and showcases the various stages of development for basketball players from the age of 11 through to senior GB representation.
With regards to my academic situation, I am currently too young to have a GPA score and SAT / ACT but I am aware that I will have to sit the tests in the future. I exceed in all of my classes especially Math, English and Science(s) and work hard to do so.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
