Personal Statement

My mom played college basketball and 4/5 uncles on my moms side played division one football in the tide end position and so playing sports has always been in my blood and soul and I love playing basketball with a passion I only have for few things. Doing good in school has always been a big goal for me because I want to be the best and do good in everything that I do. So far I have succeeded in being a good student and I hope to continue to be a good student in the college I end up going to.  I am wanting to be an ER nurse and I’m currently taking college classes in my high school right now for that reason.

I was raised to be a leader and I think that I am good at talking to people and being a leader in all the sports that I play. I can get along easy with most people and I strive to be friends and make everyone feel important where ever I go. I have a good work ethic and I am willing to put in the hours outside of practice and the season to become better. I think what makes me different from other players is my faith in Jesus Christ and how that helps me become a better person and player. Only of my goals is to go on a mission for my church, which is the Church of Jesus Christ, and so I strive to play clean and be a good player and person on and off the court. I used to be a three sport athlete, but in my junior year on my soccer team I tore my ACL and I won’t be back tell August 2021. I’m working hard to get back for my senior season and become a better player than I was before and choosing to only focus on basketball when I do come back. Thank you!
