Whitney Lott '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Whitney Lott and I am a 6'1" center or power forward. I am a student at Hillcrest High School, in Midvale Utah, and I will graduate in June of 2012.  I have enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball on my high school varsity teams. As a sophomore, I was given the Best Defensive Player Award for the varsity basketball team, and was also named to the All-Region Honorable Mention.  During my junior year, I was named our teams 1st place rebounder and 2nd place scorer.  During my senior year in high school, I led my team to a region title that it had not seen since 1999.  During that year, I won our team's MVP award, and was also named to the all-region first team, and the all-state honorable mention.  I have also served as a volleyball team captain during my senior year.

With volleyball as well as basketball, I am known as the one to make it fun, because I always have a positive attitude, and I lead by example.  I have always been very driven and I enjoy working hard.  I want to attend a college or university at which I can further my skills, mentally and athletically.  I would love to attend a smaller school, where I can really focus on what I am studying.  I am open to going to any part of our country, I love to travel!  I really am receptive to any type of school or program.  I hope to study business in sports management, or personal training. I aspire to play in a college, where I can earn a degree and make a difference on my team!
