Jessica Jensen '10 Recruiting Profile

I love to play basketball and have been involved in both a successful High School program and in a great Club or summer program for the last three years. Since I first discovered basketball in the 9th grade I have slowly dedicated more time by giving up some of my other sports, soccer (sophomore year) and volleyball (Senior year) to dedicate more time to basketball. Our high school Team has placed 4th (2008-Soph) and 2nd (2009-Jr) in the State tournament and we are currently on track to reach our goals of winning the State title this year. My athletic strengths are in my physical size and ability to run the court, I am able to pull down tough rebounds, or out run the opposing forwards in transition. I have been blessed with extra long arms,that give me another inch or two of height when rebounding. I am currently undecided on a major, but have some interest in the medical field, or perhaps teaching or coaching. I am interested in a school were I can receive and meet my educational goals and at the same time be able to contribute and help the team.
