Personal Statement
It has been my dream to play college basketball ever since I first saw the ball drop into the hoop. I love playing basketball and know what it takes to perform at the next level, and I am willing to put in the work to make myself the best player I can be.
I don't only take my time on the court seriously, but I also work hard to keep my academics at a high standard. I currently have a 4.4-weighted GPA and I take AP and honors courses.
Teamwork has been emphasized to me by all of my coaches since 4th grade, which has taught me a lot about the game. Playing with the same group of girls since my 4th grade season has given me great confidence as a player. Along with great chemistry, we have also developed as players together and we have great respect for each other above and beyond the team. I give credit to my teachers, parents, and coaches for making me the player and student I am today. I continue to work hard on and off the court to be better so I can play basketball in college.
