My name is Alexis Bennington-Horton and I am a senior at Spotswood High School in Penn Laird, Virginia. I don't only take basketball and time in the gym seriously, but I also work hard in the class room. I currently have a 3.6 GPA which includes AP and honors courses. I have always been interested in basketball ever since my father started practicing with me when I was four years old and my love for sciences come from my interest in the way the human body works and physical fitness. I hope to continue my love for them both at the collegiate level. My GPA has not come easy with out a lot of hard work, team work, and perseverance. I use those same qualities on the basketball court to help my team be successful. I consider myself a team player on and off the court. My ability to see the floor and see plays happening helps me to create plays for my teammates. I know the team is always bigger than just one person. I have a great group of teammates in high school and aau and so excited to play with both of them. I currently play summer travel for Loudon Flight were my primary positions are point guard and shooting guard. Making basketball apart of my college experience has always been a dream. Through hard work I hope to make that dream a reality with your basketball program.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Alexis Bennington-Horton
