My short term high school goals will be to graduate with honors and to receive an advanced diploma for my studies. The next goal is for me to score over 1,000 points during my high school career in basketball and to get my name on a basketball along with my points displayed in the sports show case. My dream is to attend college and study sports medicine. While in college, it would be an honor for me to play basketball. I would absolutely love to expand my basketball career. When I watch a basketball game on television or in person, I like to observe the teams offense and defense. It helps me learn more about the game, and I believe it makes me become a better player. In my spare time, I always have a basketball in my hands, working on my shot, and ball handling skills. When playing any kind of sport, I believe in showing good sportsmanship, stepping up and being a leader when your teammates are down, encouraging teammates not to give up, and keep shooting. I have found out during my experience in being on a sports team to always give a hundred and ten percent. What you put into your game is what you will get out of it. I would like people to know me as a confident and a responsible leader and a trust worthy, strong, solid athlete. I would like for my coaches to know that they can always expect me to be a leader and to keep my teammate's heads up, an also to be an independent person. I want to be a good role model to other individuals that want to achieve their goals. While achieving my goals, I have learned much from coaches. They have given me such good tools that have made me become the person and player I am today. I ingest not only what my coaches explain to me but as well as what they explain to my teammates.
