A little about myself:
I am incredibly driven. Tell me I cannot do something and I will master it. I refuse to settle for average in both basketball and academics. I believe I am capable of anything I put my mind to with hard work and determination. I strive to better myself in all aspects on and off the court and take great pride in doing so.
A coach once asked me, did I work hard or did I compete? This stuck with me and I make sure I leave every training, practice and game feeling confident saying not only did I put in the hard work, but I truly competed.

- D1 is an Elite Club with girl's from all over Snohomish County brought together to compete at the highest level of competition. On Leiana's team there are girls from Stanwood, Lake Stevens, and LaConner that made the team. Leiana has been playing D1 Elite since 4th grade.

- Lakewood Select AAU is a select feeder program for Lakewood High School. Leiana has been playing Lakewood Select since 5th grade where each year, until this final middle year of 8th grade, she has played up and always been a starter.

- Lovell works with athletes to take their shooting performance to the next level. Leiana does trainings with high schoolers (a junior and sophomore), yet Lovell didn't realize Leiana was only in 8th grade until I told him during a training when I asked how old the other athletes were. He was taken back that she was only in 8th grade with her skill level looking the same as the others.
