Becoming a starting point guard on varsity my freshman year taught me responsibility on the court and off the court. Not only did it teach me responsibility but also leadership. From a young age I have always taken a leader role and once I reached high school I was expected to step up to the plate and that is what I did. I have grown and developed as a person and I am only continuing to grow and learn from my responsibility as a point guard and leader.
I have high expectations for myself academically and in every sport I play. I am most passionate for basketball and am constantly working on myself as a point guard and a shooter. I love working with the people around me. I look at the big picture of the things around me on and off the court. I am always looking to make myself and my teammates better. I have been playing with college basketball in my head since I was in 7th grade AAU. I am looking for a college that fits my academic and athletic priorities, giving me my best chance to succeed. I believe with my playing style, the way I work with the the players and coaches around me, my passion, and work ethic on the offensive and defensive ends of the court make me a valuable player to any college team.
