Personal Statement

My name is Danyelle Waldera, I am a junior at Blair-Taylor High School in Blair, Wisconsin. I am a varsity starter and team captain. I scored my 1000th point on February 9, 2018, in 69 games and my career average is 14.49 ppg. I am a 3-time Dairyland All Conference Player. I was also recognized as an Honorable Mention, by the La Crosse Tribune and Eau Claire Leader Telegram on their All Area teams in past seasons. I am an All-Academic Dairyland Athlete. I was a starter of the 2017 Division 5- State Runner-Up softball team. I am a leader on the court for my team and a leader off the court for my school. I am a National Honor Society member, a Student Council member, in FFA and a Dairyland Honors Band participant. I play Club Ball for the Wisconsin Playmakers 17U UA series in the off season and I continue to learn the game of basketball and improve my skills. I look forward to my final high school season and the opportunities it will bring. I want to set the records high for the next group of girls to work hard and to push their limits and dreams. I would like to show them anything is possible. I want to play basketball at the next level, and be part of a team that continues to prepare me and others for our future goals and aspirations.
