I am the youngest of two children and my experiences with my brother and parents have helped shape me into the person I am today. I've been playing basketball since Kindergarten, but really fell in love with it starting in 4th grade. Through basketball and other organized sports, I have realized how important fitness, togetherness, and team bonding are in my life. I love having the opportunity to build relationships with others through sports. I have also learned the importance of sticking with things and overcoming challenges.
Academically, I am excited to find a major that will allow me to do good things for others. I am strongly considering education as a major. I really enjoy working with kids and sharing my knowledge and experience with them. While sports have been somewhat easy for me, I have had to overcome challenges whether as one of the youngest kids on the varsity as a Freshman or overcoming minor injuries. The care I received from others has inspired me to want to do the same for future generations.
