Personal Statement
I am currently a sophmore at Evansville High School. Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I went to my sisters basketball games and practices with her and my dad, who was a coach for her team at the time. I then started playing basketball competatively in fourth grade. My dad was my basketball coach for my school's team from fourth through sixth grade. He continued to help me work on my basketball skills after sixth grade, but no longer was the head coach due to a four wheeler accident that left him paralyzed. I have been playing on AAU basketball teams since the summer before my fifth grade year. I have played on many AAU teams including Wisconsin Academy and Let It Rain. I am planning to play for Wisconsin Elite this upcomming AAU season. I am hoping to play basketball in college and have been working really hard to reach that goal by putting in a lot of time on the basketball court as well as focusing on my school work. I currently would like to persue a career in nutrition or psychology. Outside of school I enjoy traveling to new places, trying new things, and hanging out with friends and family.
