My goal is to continue to play basketball through college. I have had a love of the game since I was very young. I am not sure what I would like to go to school for, but I would like to stay involved in the field of sports. I was thinking of athletic trainer. I feel I am a good candidate because I am very much a team player. I know how to post up for my teammates and box out. I give my all for my teammates. I feel that last year shows my level of commitment to the sport. The beginning of January I came down with mono. When I was slowly cleared for play I worked very hard and set the goal to return before the season ended. I was successful. I also studied hard to keep grades up resulting in an A in classes like chemistry. I take advanced courses now and am planning on taking AP courses my senior year. I am also on the varsity track team. A sport I took up as a freshman as a way to stay in shape for basketball. It turns out I did well in that sport making it to regionals as a freshman in the high jump.
