Cassie Gill '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball at a competitive level in third grade. I played with my sister’s sixth grade team. Playing with and against girls three grades above me really helped me grow as a player. I was challenged every day, and I had to work very hard to receive playing time. That experience made me develop the ability to work hard and to not give up when faced with challenges. Not only do I not quit, I am a loyal and passionate player on the court and off the court. When I commit, I commit. I don’t back down.

Ever since I started playing in third grade, I haven’t stopped. I’ve been apart of a team since then, whether it be a traveling team in grade school or high school basketball. Going into college, I would love to pursue my academic and athletic dreams. I am undecided between law or medical as my major, but basketball is definitely a dream of mine.
