Personal Statement
I am an all around athlete and participate in three different sports. Each year I have been in high school, one of my teams has qualified for state. My most important accomplishment has been being a part of multiple state qualifying teams and it is a great accomplishment and opportunity to compete with the best teams in the state.
I have different qualities that I can offer to a team. I am a leader, and am not afraid to take charge and guide my teammates. Also, I am very coachable and willing to try anything. I can pick up on new ideas pretty quickly, and am fully dedicated to my team. Every night after practice, I stay for half an hour to an hour to continue to improve my game. I am a very determined person; it has been a dream of mine to be a collegiate athlete, so I am willing to do whatever I can to achieve that goal. While I am only 5'4", I am not very tall, but I am quick and strong, and am not afraid to play against someone who is bigger than me.
Academically, I am looking for a school that isn't too big, offers my intended major of Athletic Training, and is within eight hours of my home. My athletic goals are to play at the highest competition level that I can, to be an asset to a team, and to reach my full potential as an athlete.
