Basketball has been a major influence in my life from a very early age. My mom and dad both coached at the high school level so much of my time has been spent in a gym. My father was a 6'5 collegiate basketball player and provided the greatest example of dedication, character and perseverance, not only to me, but many coaches and athletes in the state of Wyoming. He died of cancer when I was five years old and I connect with him through the sport. Being dedicated to academics, family, community, and sport are what I strive for. Being humble and coachable are my greatest strengths and everyday I leave it all on the floor, just as my dad did. If I am fortunate to play collegiate basketball, it would be an honor and I would be committed to represent my school, family and community with pride.
