Personal Statement


My name is Roxanne Rogers. Playing college basketball has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I love meeting new challenges and overcoming them with my teammates. My strengths as a player include my attention to detail and precision when it comes to the small things. I'm a team player who can create open plays and opportunities for my teammates. I am also able to conduct and see the floor well. I just concluded my junior season averaging 15.9 ppg  and earned the title of 3A West Player of the Year. As a student athlete, I understand that my academic performance is just as important as my athletic performance. I hope to pursue a career in Optometry while continuing my athletic career on the basketball court.
