Parker Venable '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Parker Venable from Buford, Georgia! Go Wolves!

     My road to volleyball is not that typical for a Georgia girl!  When I was three years old I received a pair of ice skates for Christmas.  A few lessons later, I found myself in my first competition earning a spot on the podium for first place!  I continued to move up the test track and compete for the next eight years.  At 11 years old and a major growth spurt later, I longed to try a team sport and attended my first volleyball camp.  After 4 weeks of training I was invited to join the middle and high school levels for further training.  I fell in love with the pace and excitement of the game as well as being a part of a team.  

     I have had the honor of playing and starting on my school team for the past five years.  The past few years along with my team we have won all county and regional titles, including setting a record in 2017 of not losing a single set all season!  I have played Club for five years now, enjoying some championship finishes, started every season and have had the pleasure of leading  my team as a captain.  We were in the final four of state for 5A in 2018, I received the most improved player award for my work as DS.  In addition to indoor you can catch me on the sand! I play Club Beach/Sand for AEVC Beach House, enjoying qualifying for AAU West Coat Jr Olympics 16u, USAV NATIONALS in OPEN 16u, ROX NATIONALS in 18u and a member of the 2019 JVA watchlist.  I have a live and passion to play beach volleyball at the next level!

  I was a member of Future Business Leader’s of America and received the 2017 Outstanding Leader award.  I have modeled part time for Atlanta kids to raise awareness for Autism speaks, Hope of Africa and each year I sponsor children for projectchange.org.  I am also the face of the youth division for Mizuno and have enjoyed working on various ad campaigns.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, Friends and four rescue dogs.
