Lauryn Lahey '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been around volleyball my whole life. I didn’t start playing myself until I was 13 years old when I decided, after 10 years of competitive dance, that it was time to start something new. I play indoor volleyball for the Chatham Ballhawks. A year later I decided to try beach volleyball and I completely fell in love with the game. I continue to play the indoor game but I am truly passionate about the beach game. Living in Ontario, Canada means our beach season is limited throughout the year, with the exception of the very few indoor (beach) winter tournaments that I compete in. My biggest goal for my beach volleyball career is to compete at the next level while receiving an education in the United States. I’ve been working extremely hard in the classroom, the weightroom and on the court to hopefully achieve this goal of mine because I am very dedicated to the goals I set for myself.
