Kennedy Lane '20 Recruiting Profile

I believe my height, skill level, mental toughness, competitive drive and hunger to win make me an excellent candidate. My high school is ranked top in the state for athletics and academics, so I’m very used to serious competition, grit, and hunger to win (Southlake Carroll is ranked #8 out of 10,815 best school districts for athletes in America and #1 in Texas out of 1,003 districts). My club team, Club Texas 18's Elite, placed 3rd at Nationals last season. I’ve received academic all-district awards every year in high school, so I know how to balance academics with athletics. I would definitely be lost if I attended college without playing volleyball, it's all I've known since 7th grade (school and club volleyball). I've played indoor volleyball for 7 years, and I'm entering my third year of playing beach volleyball year-round. I'm hungry to learn more and grow in my volleyball development.
