Hello! My name is Emily Hernandez. I aspire to pursue a major in Biological Sciences or Microbiology, as I am interest in identifying, assessing, and creating solutions in terms of pathology and virology. I have always enjoyed working with the environment, because I grew up with a background in competitive gymnastics, competitive swimming, competitive diving, and life guarding. I desire a minor, or double major in dance, as it has positively impacted me in aspects such as individuality, motor skills, and self-confidence. This coming '23-'24 school year I have been given the honor and privilege of taking on the role of co-captain of the San Marino HS Dance Company, giving me ample opportunity to hone my leadership and character skills. Volunteering is another passion of mine, as it not only benefits myself and others, but gives me a sense of pride and identity. My goals for the rest of my high school career is to continue with the activities that I love, and integrate them into my college career.
