Maddy Mickey Dive...Personal Statement
I fell in love with with diving when I was 8 years old. I have a true passion and love for the sport. I have qualified for nationals multiple times, and I hope to only improve once I get to the college level. Academics are very important to me and I particularly like the sciences and foreign languages. I am an extremely driven, positive person and a very hard worker. I’m also a great teammate both in dive and at school and enjoy cheering on my teammates. I am extremely organized and manage my time well. I was diving, swimming, and going to school full time for my first two years of high school before I decided to commit myself fully to diving. I’m really hoping in college I can meet my full potential with dive, and that I can start working toward a degree where I can make a difference with physical therapy.
