UPDATE AS OF MARCH, 2022: I have committed as a diver to the University of Maryland-Baltimore County for 2022-23.

Prior to making the switch to diving in June 2021, I enjoyed a successful 13-year gymnastics career, winning numerous individual awards as a member of the Roswell (GA.) Gymnastics competition team. As a gymnast, I trained 22-26 hours per week and was a 7-time qualifier for the Southeastern Regional Championships. I competed as a Level 10 gymnast during the 2020-21 season.
My background and training in high-level gymnastics have helped prepare me for my transition to diving. I still have a lot to learn, but I am goal-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, so I push myself to learn new dives with the proper technique and form, traits that I have carried over from gymnastics.
Living in Atlanta, I am very fortunate to be able to join a program with a long history of diving success. I currently train with the Atlanta Diving Association in a group coached by Georgia Tech head coach John Ames. My goal is to make enough progress to be able to join the club's Elite team in time to try to qualify for Regional, Zone, and (hopefully) National meets. I will start competing in High School meets in late October/early November. I'm excited for my first season of diving!
Gymnastics accomplishments:
2020: National Team Training Camp qualifier (in place of COVID-canceled Eastern Nationals). Bars scores of 9.7 (twice) ranked among top scores in the country. 1st place on bars in all five meets in 2020 season. Placed 1st AA twice, 2nd AA twice.
2019 - Eastern Nationals alternate.
7-time Region 8 Regionals qualifier.
Region 8 Excel bars champion (2014).
GA state and Region 8 Excel floor champion (2013).
