Personal Statement
I would like to grow as a student and an athlete in college. I want to compete for championships and prepare myself academically for life after college. I work hard at practice and in class, because I always want to be the best version of myself. When I get corrections on what to improve on, I work as hard as I can to fix those corrections. I am able to focus and work hard, while still cheering on my team-mates and being respectful of my competitors. I am different from other recruits, as I always make others feel welcome and respected, while pushing myself to be the best I can be. I am different from other athletes because I am versatile, as I have experience in 1m and 3m, and I have been working on increasing my dives on platform. I am driven to improve, shown by competing and practicing year round, while still finding time to be a top student, a volunteer, a club officer, and a team gymnastics coach.
