Personal Statement

I am an energetic, hard working, highly motivated person who strives to be good at not only what I do, but also be a good well rounded person.  I am well aware of the hard work and training involved to excel in a sport.  I have spent over 15 years training in gymnastics to be a highly competitive gymnast.  In addition, I am currently judging and coaching competitive gymnastics.  With this experience, I have a good understanding of what it takes to be trained and coached.  Therefore, I feel that I am very coach-able and can bring these skills into diving.  This is may be my first year at diving, but I feel that I am already years ahead due to my background.

When I am not coaching or practicing dive, I am either doing my hobby of photography, studying or volunteering.  My studying for school and getting good grades is one of my top priorities.  The results of which are shown by my GPA and my membership in National Honor Society.  I can also be seen volunteering with several groups and activities through my Church and also with organizations such as The Liberty Youth Ballet Company and The Philippine Medical Society.

I feel that I can be a great addition to any dive team by being a team player, being able to motivate my team,  the ability to take constructive criticism, my perseverance over any obstacles, and my willingness to help build a highly competitive dive team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
