This year and last year, without a full-time diving coach, I placed first at Center State Conference League Championships in the six-dive event. This year at League Championships I also broke my previous school diving records, which I set in eighth grade in both six dives and 11 dives. My eleven dive score for this year was 358.4, and my six-dive score was 203.85. Our team is very small, so I swim also. My favorite event is 100 backstroke. At our League Championships, I placed fifth in 100 backstroke with a time of 1:13.56, but my fastest is 1:12.51. I hope that I can also be a leader at my future college because I was a captain on the swimming and diving team as well as being class president and a member of Leadership for Athletes.I hope to continue challenging myself both academically and athletically at my future college by earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. By becoming physical therapist, I can help athletes who are recovering from sports injuries just like I had to when I tore my ACL.
