Maisie Anderson '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maisie Greer Anderson and I am one of 5 children.  Why do I want a college scholarship?  The money of course.  I told you I am one of 5 children and my parents will shortly be suffering from "mal-tuition."  I'm kidding of course.  I have been diving since I was 6 years old.  I started with Bob Gunter of The Woodlands Dive Academy and then Kenny Armstrong.  I also spent one year training with Charlie Casuto.  I am currently training with Cougar Diving Club at the University of Houston and am on the Varsity team at Katy High School in Katy, Texas.  I am a hard worker with with a "Can-Do" attitude.  I am goal oriented with a tireless drive to succeed in academics and athletics.  I am not daunted by hard work and I have shown this in my training for diving as well as triathlons and half marathons.  I am a team leader and I was made captain of the Katy High School Varsity team after 4 months of membership.  I am excited about the prospect of diving and competing on the college level.  I am a loyal and dedicated teammate and consider integrity and honesty the hallmarks of who I am.  I have a great sense of humor(I have to have one I live in a house with 5 kids) and believe that I can bring a great attitude and success to your program.  My goal is to pursue a degree in Communications and work in Broadcast Journalism.  I am excited at the prospect of your consideration and want you to know that If given the opportunity to dive for your school I will not let you down.  I look forward to hearing from you.
