I started playing golf before I could even remember. My grandpa bought me my first putter when I was only 10 months old. When I turned four he bought me my first set of clubs and started playing from there. I didn't get serious about golf until about five years ago though and I knew from then that I definitely wanted to play golf in college and pursue a future in golf, hopefully reaching the top level of competitive golf. I played in both the NCJGA as well as my high school team. Last year we were co-champions within our league. Besides being good at golf I am a very sociable outgoing person and I love meeting new people. That's another reason why I love golf, you get to meet new people everyday and every time you play. I'm not just interested in golf though, I am a very hard working individual Even though my grades might not reflect it the best, I will put my heart and soul into everything I do and what I am passionate about. A short list of things I am passionate about, but not limited to because I am always willing to explore new options, are golf, auto mechanics, mechanical engineering, construction, and working on computer hardware. I do have a lot to work on in my golf game though. Since I have never had a golf instructor, I have always been self taught or family taught, so I plan on getting an instructor to work with. Over the summer though I plan on honing my swing and my golf skills and improving my scores. I want to be the best I can be in what I love to do, and that is golf.
